Preliminary Results on Aquatic Insects in the Me Linh Station for Biodiversity, Vinh Phuc Province

An intensive field survey on aquatic insects of Me Linh Station for Biodiversity in Vinhphuc province was conducted in December 2015. Specimens were collected at 8 different sites and aquatic insects were collected both quantitatively by Surber net and qualitatively by hand net, pond net. As a result, a total of 110 aquatic insect species belonging to 98 genera, 49 families and 9 orders were recognized. Among these, the order Ephemeroptera had the highest species number with 26 species, followed by Odonata with 25 species, Trichoptera with 18 species, Coleoptera with 15 species, Hemiptera with 11 species, Diptera with 9 species. Lepidoptera, Plecoptera and Megaloptera had the lowest of species number, represented by 3 species of Lepidoptera, 2 species of Plecoptera and 1 species of Megaloptera. Bước đầu nghiên cứu xử lý lõi ngô làm cơ chất nuôi trồng nấm sò trắng (Pleurotus florida) Ngô là cây lương thực quan trọng được trồng ở nhiều vùng sinh thái khác nhau. Trong khi hạt ngô là phần có giá trị được con người thu hái, thân, lá được sử dụng làm thức ăn gia súc, thì lõi ngô bị thải bỏ ra ngoài môi trường gây ô nhiễm mà chưa được tận dụng hợp lý gây lãng phí tài nguyên. Đề tài này tiến hành sử dụng lõi ngô làm cơ chất nuôi trồng nấm sò trắng. Trong nghiên cứu đã khảo sát sự sinh trưởng của hệ sợi, sự hình thành quả thể của nấm sò trên 2 loại cơ chất là lõi ngô nghiền mịn và lõi ngô băm nhỏ. Kết quả cho thấy lõi ngô nghiền mịn với tỷ lệ phối trộn dinh dưỡng 2% (cám gạo) là công thức tối ưu cho sự sinh trưởng và phát triển của nấm sò. Trong khi đó lõi ngô băm nhỏ vẫn cho năng suất nhưng kết quả kém hơn. Sau khi thu hoạch nấm phần cơ chất sẽ bị thải bỏ, các chỉ tiêu lý hóa học của bã thải sau trồng nấm đã được nghiên cứu phân tích, kết quả cho thấy bã thải đáp ứng đ

Effects of Glutamate on the Reflex of Circulatory System under Hypoxic Condition In this study, we investigated the effects of glutamate, the neurontransmitter, on the reflex mechanism of circulatory system to hypoxia. Male Wistar rats were subjeted to hypoxic condition (10% O2 in N2). Glutamate were injected to cerebrospinal fluid of rats using Hamilton injector connecting with stereotaxic system with a constant velocity of 1 µl/s for 5 mins. Our results showed that glutamate reduced or suppressed the responses of circulatory system under hypoxic condition. A decrease in mean arterial pressure (55 - 66%) and an increase in heart rate (6 - 12%) in comparison with normal levels were observed.
